The Lockwood Teams Up With Emilie’s for a Cocktail-Naming Contest

Belva Lockwood was at the forefront of the women’s rights movement in the early 20th century, playing a key role in pushing for women’s suffrage. The attorney has earned a place in history thanks to her hard work, and she’s also The Lockwood’s namesake. In her honor, The Lockwood recently teamed up with nearby eatery Emilie’s for a fun cocktail-naming contest!

A few weeks ago, Emilie’s invited everyone to register for free cocktail kits to bring home. The kits included everything you needed to make a fresh cocktail (more than 10 ingredients), along with some tips and tricks from Emilie’s own mixologists. Needless to say, the kits were quickly snapped up—half of them by The Lockwood’s own residents—and votes were cast! Keep an eye on The Lockwood’s and Emilie’s Instagram accounts to see which name won!
