Shelter Is a Must-Sip Spot for Beer Lovers Near The Lockwood

If you’ve been to Churchkey and the Sovereign, you need to try their latest brainchild, Shelter, which just opened in The Roost culinary consortium (which is also pretty neat on its own!). As you enter the beer hall you’re welcomed by a unique vibe created by a ceiling filled with eclectic lights with a seating area that flows seamlessly from indoor to outdoor beer garden. 

They plan to serve up over 1,000 different beers this year, so rest assured every time you visit you’ll be greeted with new options on tap. Shelter will also pour a rotating selection of cider and seasonally inspired cocktails. One neat part about the beer hall is that since it is a part of The Roost, you can actually order food from any of the food establishments in the building—think pizza from Slice Joint, charcuterie from Red Apron, sushi from AKO, tacos from Hi/Fi, and more.
