Chow Down on Chicken and Waffles at Yardbird

If you love a good biscuit and fried chicken, Yardbird is going to be your new go-to. This new restaurant serves up indulgent Southern-inspired comfort food that delights with every bite. There are only a few locations across the country and one in Singapore, so we’re lucky to have one right in our backyard! 

If you’ve never been before, you have to try the staples first. Start with an order of the classic buttermilk biscuits that come with honey butter and housemade jam. Honestly, these pretty little biscuits could also be dessert! You should also try the deviled eggs with trout roe, dill, and chives. For your entree, it’s all about the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Their chicken n’ waffles aren’t your average dish though. It features a cheddar cheese waffle and spicy watermelon with perfectly fried chicken. Pair that with skillet cornbread and a whiskey cocktail and you’ll be extra satisfied.
